  1. Whenever I had a muscle injury, such as blue, I saw fading with tenderness. Bruises heal with time, application of cold to reduce swelling and heat to increase blood flow. In the case of a concussion he wants to ice immediately. The blues is like internal bleeding. If the fluid does not dissipate cold compress to the scar tissue in liquid form. This material is the muscles until they actually separated by tearing streamline, stretching and physiotherapy.

The inflammation can also mean an infection. If the toe of the accident that infected wound was caused, you have an infection in May but I can not imagine why the calf is swollen and not the foot.

Most likely it is overstretched or pulled calf muscle or tendon causes it to rupture. The body tries to repair itself.

Put ice over 10 to 15 minutes to do so that they do not freeze your skin. Then apply heat 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat several times. Try one or two times a day.

You calso an Advil or ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and swelling, but may also cause bleeding in some people. Be sure to eat something when you take it. They should not exceed 600 mg at a time and no more than 2400mg per day. I'll probably 300-400 every 6 hours.

You can also on the website of the Mayo Clinic. They have self-diagnostics there.
